Bangor Pier

A small but lively University town traced back to the 6th Century. Art and local artefacts are on display at Storiel with a good shopping scene and Wales’ longest High Street (reputedly). The pier stretching out into the Menai Strait is a great place to treat yourself to tea and scones or an ice cream.

A delightful seaside town with a mix of medieval. Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture. Meander through the town’s charming streets and pastel painted picturesque cottages until you reach Beaumaris castle, a United Nations World Heritage site. With lively cafés, pubs and restaurants there is something for everyone.

This quaint village in the Snowdonia National Park is surrounded by the Gwydyr Forest. Breath the fresh mountain air, walk the many trails, browse the independent craft, clothing and gift shop. Afterwards finish up in one of the diverse cafés, bistros, restaurants or pubs.

Great Orme

This large limestone headland rises 679ft straight out of the sea. Named by the Vikings it means ‘sea monster’. Jump on the cable car or Great Orme tram and you will soon be at the top to explore the geology, archaeology and wildlife.
