Frequently Asked Questions

Our Static Caravan FAQs are designed to answer all your questions when it comes to purchasing a static caravan. Caerwys View

Effective from the 2025 season the pitch fees will be as follows:

  • Annual Caravan Pitch Fee: £3,825
  • Service Costs: £1,500* (see detail below)
  • Total Annual Cost: £5,325

 

  • Annual Lodge and twin unit Pitch Fee: £4,550
  • Service Costs: £1,500* (see detail below)
  • Total Annual Cost: £6,050

 

These fees will continue to be subject to a £100.00 discount if paid in full by 1st December 2024 and will be payable in full after that date and before 31st December 2024. Alternatively, if you wish to pay your pitch fee in 3 instalments then please see the terms below.

Caravan instalments:

On or before 1st December 2024 – £2,525.00

On or before 1st March 2025 – £1,400.00

On or before 1st June 2025 – £1,400.00

 

Lodge / twin unit instalments:

On or before 1st December 2024 – £2,850.00

On or before 1st March 2025 – £1,600.00

On or before 1st June 2025 – £1,600.00

 

Plas Newydd 

Effective from the 2025 season the pitch fees will be as follows:

  • Annual Caravan Pitch Fee: £2,930
  • Service Costs: £1,500* (see detail below)
  • Total Annual Cost: £4,430

No.  We do not allow holiday homes to be sub-let.

No.  The park is not residential and can only be used for holidays.

If you are an existing caravan owner on another park but are unhappy with your current location, we will happily consider the relocation of your current holiday home to Caerwys View.  A full appraisal of your current holiday home will be required and a full move-on quotation will be supplied (including charges for disconnections, collection, transportation, delivery and re-connection).

Alternatively, we can also offer a quotation to park exchange your holiday home with us and start afresh.  Please feel free to contact us at Caerwys View and one of our sales team will be delighted to discuss further.

Yes.  If you decide to sell your holiday home in the future you may do so.  There is a 20% charge to allow the holiday home to be resold on the Park.  We also offer to resell your holiday home for you.

We do not offer finance directly but can recommend Pegasus Finance, Barclays and Black Horse Finance as they deal with Static Caravans and Lodge Finance.

No.  A 10% deposit by credit or debit card secures any pitch or holiday home for 31 days.  The balance is payable before you take over the caravan.

Yes we are pet friendly.

Yes.  New holiday homes are provided with manufacturers warranty and pre-owned holiday homes are given a warranty by the park. (Terms & Conditions Apply)

Caerwys View – You can use your holiday home all year round.

Plas Newydd – The holiday park is open from 1st March to 30th December each year.

There is no age limit, however it is expected that you maintain your holiday home and keep it clean and tidy and in good order.  Your holiday home will be inspected annually to ensure compliance.

Absolutely, We will always happily consider a part-exchange, so please bring specific details of the holiday home you own with you when you visit the park so that we can give you an indication of the allowance we will give towards your new purchase.

Yes, if you’ve decided to upgrade from touring home to static we’ll work out a part exchange deal specifically for you. Just speak to our sales team for more details.
